Feeding Knowledge and Best Sustainable Development Practices for Food Security
Feeding Knowledge is the Expo Milano 2015 program for cooperation in research and innovation for Food Security,
developed together with the Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Bari (IAMB/CIHEAM) and Milan Polytechnic.
Feeding Knowledge, with its two projects the scientific network (International Scientific Network on Food Security)and best practices (Best Practices in Sustainable Development), is based on the idea that developing and sharing knowledge are the best routes to providing real solutions for food security that satisfy the needs of the developing world. Thanks to the Technology Platform, a user-friendly e-collaboration system, the forum and the interaction between researchers and key figures from academia and the political world, the project is able to expand, offering an exchange of ideas, know-how and research on models for sustainable development.
A network of knowledge
The scientific network aims to create a network of experts, scientists, researchers and technicians that through five main themes can discuss, share and transfer knowledge on food security at an international level, helping to identify policies and programs that can create sustainable development.
